BIOGRAPHY

Ammar brings over a decade of experience in the finance industry, with a strong focus on assisting Canadian small businesses through asset-based lending, debt restructuring, and the development of innovative lending solutions. As a managing partner at Kingsmen Capital, he has helped shape the firm’s commitment to creating flexible financing products tailored to the unique needs of Canada’s lower middle-market.

His professional journey began as a strategy consultant at Bell, where he managed the implementation of large-scale telecommunications projects. He later transitioned into private capital markets, working as a corporate account manager at a private credit fund. This role gave him valuable experience structuring complex financing solutions for mid-market Canadian businesses and laid the foundation for the creation of Kingsmen Capital.

At Kingsmen, Ammar specializes in lender finance, the design of structured lending facilities, and helping businesses navigate financial challenges with strategic, long-term capital solutions. His leadership has been instrumental in bringing to market several lending products specifically created to support small businesses in an ever-evolving economic landscape.

In addition to his work at Kingsmen, Ammar is actively involved in RMY Ventures, a private holding group focused on growth-oriented opportunities. Through RMY, he contributes to a wide range of initiatives, including real estate development, multi-family housing, and early-stage investments in high-growth companies nearing public offerings.

Ammar holds a degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Laurentian University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is a lifelong sports enthusiast, having played competitive cricket in Toronto, England, and Pakistan. He is also a dedicated supporter of the Toronto Raptors.
